Current mood: stuffed up headachey

Couple of new images. Man, this is productive for me. It feels great!

Roo head. Sketched and colored in colored pencil, then played with greatly in photoshop. I want to eventually get my real media to look this rich. Layers and layers, I guess!

Modeled off a xmas tree ornament I found this year. She needs a name. NOT FIFI, haha!

Sketch of Kabuki. I like that arm!! Sorry for the yellowed background, I somehow missed that when adjusting levels :p

Well, first I was going to comment on image number 1 and say 'Damn, your coloring is very rich and tectural'. THEN I saw number 2 and wanted to suggest 'Sophia' as a name. And then number 3 was super cute.

So as you can see, I commented on all three :3

1: Thanks! The textures are colored pencil, but a lot of the vibrancy of color comes from a multiply layer in Opencanvas.

2:Sophia is an awesome name @_@

3: I have been doodling her like mad all day, haha! Even made a little clay maquette (sp?) so's I can figure out how her horns look from different angles. It's tricky!

You do a nice job with faces and expressions. I really like the character design of your jackalope character too. The face on previous pinup one looked slightly masculine to me, though I couldn't quite say why, something subtle. Her face looks femimine here though and that's a cute smile she's got.

Might it have been the heavy eyebrows? I have very dark, definied brows IRL, and a pretty serious look about me . . . I was trying to convey that a bit in the pic.

I love drawing faces ^_^

It may be the eyes, but I also think it's the strong and angular definition of the cheekbone, her cheek is a little softer in the sketch above, if that makes sense

Looking at your French poodle in image 2 again, the name Brigitte (not sure if I spelled that correctly) comes to mind.
