Oh man, I have been having a blast playing with some new techniques, mostly involving lots and lots of scribbling.

Its Cruentus the Genet! Huzzah.

Had a LOT of fun with this image and am very excited to continue working in this style :D

WOW! How long have you been using a wacom? I just got mine a month ago and it's like learning to draw all over again ~_~

I've had this tablet for about 5 months, and it's a 6x8, and the one I had before was the little 4x5 (which still served its purpose very well!!).

If you really want to have some fun with it, and feel more like you are working with pencil, I'd suggest finding a copy of OpenCanvas 3.03. It is really, really awesome!!!

And yeah, it's definitely weird at first, but as long as you keep using it, you'll become accustomed to its wily ways.

nice shading/texture work and I love the expression and body language. It's very fun.

I love how the yellows pop against that cool green ground. Nice work (again!)!

Gotta love that expression!
And is open canvas a free program like oekaki?

the very first version of OC is free, and it's the one that lets you share a canvas with other users around the internets. The later features unfortunately don't have that feature, but thew tools are much better. Unless you can find a crack for them though, you do have to pay for them. Google around, I'll bet you can find something.

Hi, might I please add you to my friends list? (I realize it's probably okay, but it's also always polite to ask.) I really like the way you manage to peg scribbly, cartoony, gestural and solid stuff all at the same time, so I'd really like to see more!

Feel free to add, and thanks for your comments! I've finally let myself stop worrying about making things "clean" and just let myself scribble, and I'm much happier with how things are coming out as a result. Glad you like it too!
