Hey folks, got some arts for ya!

Been having a lot of fun doing some digital scribbling in Opencanvas. Why is it that I do my best work when I have an audience? It keeps me motivated!

Warning: three largish images under the cut!

My cowdragon char, looking smooshy. Did this in Opencanvas, all on one layer. I highly reccomend trying this technique, even if it seems scary and hard. Just get your sketch down and start slapping color right over it. Be paying attention to the form and stuff, but bring it out with other colors, as opposed to outlines. I promise, you will start getting some really cool results, if you start big and smooshy and loose, and work down to smaller, tighter details.

The dude I was OCing with (goes by MadPolar on FA) requested a polar bear, so here she is. There are some serious anatomical issues in this one (apparently her labia looks like testicles, auuugh), her arms, paws, etc . . . . but I really love the colors in this, and the background, her face, and her big behind.

Decided to go ahead and try "inking" this image. I did this for my buddy Al, from Deep Thinking Perverts which is where Sabine originated. This is almost the naughtiest pic of Sabine ever. The only naughtier one got more comments on the oekaki when I posted it than any of my other drawings, I think. It was epic!

Well that's all for now. I am in the process of scanning a bunch of sketches ands stuff, which I will post soon enough.

Woah, I did something the other night that turned out very well!

I moderate an oekaki board,Deep Thinking Perverts. It is owned and maintained and put together by a fabulous guy named Waccoon. I've been part of this board, in it's various forms, for the past 4.5 years!! The people there are fantastic characters, funny and smart and good-hearted, fabulous senses of humor. And SO many talented artists/cartoonists! I'm very proud of it and everybody there, honestly!!

So recently the incredible Amberdrake did some fanart of a redheaded cowgirl belonging to the also fabulous Nanimoose. It turned into a bandwagon which I happily hopped on, because I LOVE nanimoose, AND I love cowgirls. And big tits, and readheads. HOW COULD I NOT???

Yay for boobies big enough to hide a hand under. If you go to DTP and scroll down, you can watch the animation for this. I made a point of erasing most of my mistakes, instead of undoing them, so there are lots of sketches and understudy stuff to look at, which I think is really fun!

My darling texaschampion got me some faaaabulous pens as a gift, they are called "Le Pen" and are superfine and smooth. So what better use for them than drawing fanarts for Tengu. Google Tengu to learn about this fascinating character!

Howdy, folks

Hope everyone heading to AC had a fantastic, fantabulous time! I wish I was going again this year, but alas, I have other plans in the near future that prevented me from going. I will definitely be at MFF, though, hope to see many of you there as well!

Surprise badge for texaschampion, because she rocks and I love her. Did this in my free time at the booth, using pink col-erase, two tones of warm grey copic sketch markers, prismacolor pencil, and airbrushed acrylic pigment on bristol. I really like this!

These are my plans for a fursuit which will be going into production shortly. Ain't he cute? I am gonna have a BLAST AS THIS GUY OMG.

Concept sketches for my entry in the Disqualified portfolio, all male dog breeds with a "flaw" that would keep them from being shown in the ring. In the case of this angry black poodle punk, it's a nonstandard clip and two toned fur (the shaved bits are charcoal grey, the puffy, long fur is black). I think poodles are AWESOME in their insanity.

I had this one all colored and then I somehow lost the file. A'grdrrm!! This character is much fun, I want to put her in kinky outfits. She is wearing a denim bikini, in case it wasn't clear. It makes more sense colored.

I like her boots!!!

A friend of mine likes this character, so I threw this together for him on his 21st birthday. Hope he doesn't mind me posting it, as it wasn't requested and I think it caught him off guard :p I do think he likes it though!!

My contribution to the monthly furotic exchange community. The characters belong to summerjackel, and were a challenge to draw in ArtRage.

Both of these were drawn from reference, photos thanks to Domai.

Okay, hey, I did this today and I'm more than a little pleased witht it :o

Spent about three hours on this puppy, in between caricaturing. This is what got me through the day, honestly!!

A few details.

I plan to spend lot of time and effort coloring this piece (digitally). This one's goin' in the ol' portfolio.

So when I'm at the caricature booth, and I'm not actually doing a caricature, I have two options. I may either stand and walk around the booth, or I may sit and draw. If I'm sitting I must be drawing.

HOW COOL IS THAT OH MAN it's GREAT motivation!!! I get more drawing done at work than I do at home, how ironic :p The one problem is that since it's a family environment, I can't draw furry smut ;__; But that's good, it's giving me clothing practice!

The paper that we work with is BIG (11x14) and we have lots of permanent black markrs and pens to play with. This is also giving me plenty of opportunity to practice my inking!

Here is something I worked up on Sunday. This takes up pretty much the entire page, and took for FREAKING EVER to ink, with a copic brush pen. THAT was a challenge too, let me tell ya!!

Not putting this one under a cut coz it's small and I just love it too much. I'm really just ridiculously happy with this one (although I can still spot a number of flaws).

I plan to do the ol' Four Seasons routine, with all vixens. HOHOHO can you tell I'm a furry? I NEVER WOULD HAVE GUESSED!!

I'll proably color these with markers.

Oh man, this is too cool. I was recently emailed by a writer for Scarlet Magazine, a publication about female sexuality. Check the link for more info on the 'zine itself, it looks AWESOME and I may just have to get a subscription!! Anyway, the writer in question is doing an article on Furotica, found my work, and asked me for an interview!! How nifty is THAT? And my art is going to be featured as well, dang. I'm completely blown away!! She doesn't know when the article will be printed, but it will likely be in the next couple of months. I'll be sure to scan it when I get it and post it up here. She asked me how I go about combining human and animal features, what attracted me to furry art, what my fiancee thinks of it, how long have I been into it, etc. I answered her questions very thoroughly and in great detail, and she says I am the best interview she has ever had :o!!!

so yeah I'm all excited about that, wanted to share it with ya :D

Annnd have some ART

Had this sketched, very loosely, grabbed a sharpie and inked it in about five minutes :p I used to do a lot of heavy inking, I love how bold and graphic it looks. Need to do more like this, defnitely! This character is actually the original design for my Fursona of Kabuki. Then I noticed a number of other red panda characters, and one in particular with long blonde hair and blue eyes. I really wanted a unique character, and honestly was not that strongly attatched to this design anyway, so she was scrapped. I still love her design, and definitely see her as a domme, fetishy babe with an attitude. Now I just have to come up with a new name for her, haha!

Whoa, been a while! Like I said, I go through phases. I got the itch to play with real media tonight, so I have something for ya.

This was more color practice than anything else, so I'm not too concerned about the anatomy issues (her neck area is pretty freaky!!). I really, REALLY need to work more on arms and hands. Elbows give me a headache, as do knees. Oh well, more practice!!

Forgot to upload this back when I did it . . . gift for a very nice fella known as strawberrykyo . . . dude, what is your LJ name?? I can't find ya!! Anyway, his char is a spotted skunk, and they just have THE prettiest markings. I don't like the blue on the white parts in this, but I like his tail and pose.

couple new images, and these are actually colored and everything!

This was created for the erotic furry art exchange community, furoticxchange. For the March round, I recieved tailypo'scharacter, Vesta the fire gryphon. I had the linework and 60% of the coloring completed within a week of recieving the assignment, but slacked off all month becasue I had to draw wings, and I had already looked at this image for so long, and wings are a pain in the ass. So, the night it was due, I scribbled them in, along with the tail . . . but I kinda think it works, and others have thought the same. Her persoality was described as being "Fierce, wild -- a bit fiery. Playful -- in the way a cat might play with a mouse." She's shown with her favorite plaything, here . . . that's what the purple shiny thing is, in case you couldn't tell :p I am proud of myself for the effort I put into this sucka!! Photshop coloring over a pencil drawing.

astolpho and I are doing a trade, and this is my half :D He mentioned that noone had drawn a pic of his ladyfriend giving some TLC to baby astolpho (who just happens to be the cutest character on the web, IMO). I love babies and childhood and motherhood and breatfeeding and that beautiful bond, and I wanted to show that here . . . but to also give it a fairly sexual feel, because hey, she's not his mother, she's his fiancee! Also, everyone should check out the new community he has created, furry_pinups.

I didn't have a ref of her horn, and it was described as being twisty and weird. I kind of just made it curvy and MASSIVE, jeeze! I worry that she'd fall over from the weight! I really like how her boob and pelvic area turned out, as well as her legs and hooves. Colored in Opencanvas over a pencil drawing.

Also, on a completely unrelated note, EVERYONE NEEDS TO CHECK OUT THIS WEBSITE. Go ahead and sign up, it's free and it's awesome. Create a radio station with all of your favorite artists, and listen to it often. Be sure to fine tune it, don't hesitate to tell it when you don't like what it's playing! I have been listening to it regularly, and have it adjusted to the point where I love just about everything it plays, and it has turned me on to a ton of new music. Just wanted to pass the word along!

I go through phases of drawing lots and then not drawing lots. Today I drew lots.

I had a lot of fun with this. I didn't use any refs,so her ears and mane and stripes are pretty wonky. Very very happy with the anatomy in this one (though the feet were really bad, which is why they are missing here).

Poodles are completely awesome. They have this neurotic, hyperfocused intense energy around them, almost kind of wild. Even the really gentle ones have this sense of like giant snappy coiled springs, to me (maybe it's the electrified hairdo). And they have very long, pointy mouths with lots of long teeth, I know two black one who are crazy and they remind me of velociraptors.

This is a small image, about four inches tall.

more unicorns auuugh! This was inking practice. I have been training as a caricature artist , and it has taught me some useful tricks for getting the clean, sharp lines. I have always sed pens similarly to pencils, which can be great if you like the messy, scribbly look . . . but sometimes I really want comic book clean outlines, and I couldn't get them. Now I know that you have to bear down pretty hard on the tip of the pen (I used micron for this, .05) to break it in and get it flexible, and to get a good, bold line on the first stroke. I had been going over and over lines to make them thick, and while it can work and is often necessary, it's a lot easier to get line variation by pressing down hard and tapering the edges by pulling the pen along the paper. If that makes any sense :p

I really like his MANE. Unicorns are the BOMB.

Woah, more sketches!

Did these while watching Gunsmoke. I need to go re-rent them, not just because I need to use them for reference, but because it is absolutely the best TV show I have ever seen.

I like the donkey :D

The donkey, and the two at the top were inked with a leedle brush, no undersketch. Actually none of these had any presketches in pencil. Sketching directly in pen is a great exercise!

I am kicking around the idea of doing a number of furry illustrations/comic book type images set in the Old West! I am going to go to my dad and brother for help with storyline, and since they are not into furry stuff as I am (and I def want this to be entirely anthropomorphic), I need to show them that furry stuff CAN be serious art. I'm going to show them Blacksad, absolutely. This stuff just makes my jaw drop, and inspires me SO MUCH. I HAVE to get these books!!! Some Blacksad concept art and pages from the actual books. BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL AUGH I CANT STAND IT

Cooooooon *heart heart heart* This one is dedicated to the rascal who has been climbing up to our roof and eating the catfood off the window sill! I have walked in on him doing this three times nowm and every time I about melted. He is freaking adorable, even if he is a brat!

A couple of drawings from photo reference. Praise the Lord for Domai!! A subscription is sooooo worth it, this site has been such a huge help to me! I would like to work into the practice of drawing at least one image from reference a day, and get the photo from that site.

The next page in the sketchbook :p These are not from reference. I'd like to dedicate the skunk girl to dustmeat, as she has always been a big inspiration.

I hope to have some Western concept sketches up here soon!

Hello all you beautiful people!

Been doing a good bit of doodling and sketching, not finishing much of anything (as usual, haha). I don't want to leave you all languishing any longer, so I thought I'd throw up a couple of the more finished sketches I've produced.

A character of mine named Cyro. He's a Karelian Bear Dog! Thanks texaschampion for coaxing me into creating this guy, I have several more sketches of this bad boy in the works >:D

Screencap of part of an OC session I had with a buddy a while back. He said "needs more porn" at some poiint, and uhhh . . . this happened :D More Cyro! UNF indeed!!

I'm delighted to be one of the artists working on The Kennel Club playing card project! My only card so far is the English Setter, but there is word that I may get another one *crosses fingers!* I want to give thanks to my fiancee for posing in the nude for me so I could get the anatomy right *blows kisses*. Also, I guess I could come out and announce publically that I am also known as Terzy out there in internet land (which is the name you will see in the Kennel Club link). Hope noone is shocked or offended, although I can't imagine why you would be, haha! Just wanted an alias to post my smut under, but this journal will most likely become my repository for all my furry works, eventually. We'll see!

Yet another one of Java's characters, this is Danya the german shepherd! Expect to see her paired with Cyro someday soon, I think they make a pretty smokin' couple.

Hellos!

Was talking with texaschampion t'other night, and she gave me a very brief rundown of how she had gone about creating an image (of my character! Woot!). I started doing some fiddlin' of my own in a similar vein, and had a lot of fun! Then I took it into PS and started going nuts, and this is a bit of what I have so far.

Another image based on a suggestion! Thank you Gavinfoxx for the excellent list of rare and unusual species! I tend to consider myself pretty well versed in odd and interesting mammals, but I had never heard of these completely bizarre creatures, the Desman. Someone needs to make a desman character. Perhaps I will. They will soon become the most popular species among the fandom, possibly surpassing wolves. I wouldn't doubt it, with that face.

Hey folks,

THANK YOU for all of your wonderful suggestions in my last post! It really helped inspire/motivate me, and I will be scanning and uploading the several sketches that resulted.

I recently misplaced my tablet pen (actually, my friend accidentally put it in his pocket and forgot about it XD), so I was all excited about getting to do some digital drawling again. This image is entirely digital, and I used Opencanvas v 3.03 and NO REFERENCES!!! Man! I am super happy with how the anatomy turned out, although her feets are kind of tiny and her stomach has some issues I think. But hey! I'm still pretty darn satisfied!!

This one goes out to Aura Deva! DAMN STRAIGHT we need more unicorns!!

Also, are any of you haveing trouble viewing the images I have posted in the last several entries? I think the ones linked to from furaffinity are acting weird.

So hey all, I am feeling pretty uninspired recently, and would just like to ask you good pervs for some suggestions. Well I have been noodling with this image off and on for the past few days, and I have brought it to a point where I think I am satisfied.

This was a fun image to do, mostly because it has a penis and I need practice drawin' thems. I was cracking myself up detailing it with the veins and etc. I found it even funnier when texaschampion pointed out that his nuts are bigger than his waist.

I need to do more scribbly stuff. I love doing it, and I usually make it look pretty good. I just kind of feel like an image has to be neat for it to be good, which is wayyyy wrong.

Today I made a little clay jackalope head, because drawing those horns in perspective is turning out to be kind of a bitch :p I tried to get a good photo of the little thing, but the camera doesn't like it, so you will just have to do with these sketches. I'd like to make a bigger head someday, and fix the horns! This is a very useful little prop, I can turn it and look at it from different angles, etc. What do they call these? Maquettes? I know animators use them, and I can see why :p Hadn't worked with clay in a while, it was fun!

I was talking to my buddy earlier today, and asked him for some ideas for a drawing. One of them was a fox hunting a beagle, possibly riding a horse. Well, There's no beagle, and no horse, but I loved the idea of a fox in hunting gear (although I'm sure it's been done many times before!). After some research into the garb of foxhunters, It has been noted that her right leg is wonky, and it is :p LEGS ARE SO AUGH They are so pretty and have such defined curves and angles, but it is so hard to make those curves look how they are supposed to! BWAGH!

Couple of new images. Man, this is productive for me. It feels great!

Roo head. Sketched and colored in colored pencil, then played with greatly in photoshop. I want to eventually get my real media to look this rich. Layers and layers, I guess!

Modeled off a xmas tree ornament I found this year. She needs a name. NOT FIFI, haha!
